Renovation of:
New Apartment (BGS)
One of our frequent inspections is of newly built apartments issued according to the Bulgarian State Standard. We have prepared a detailed plan for this type of repairs. In order to give a guarantee for finishing works on such a repair, it is necessary to follow successive steps and observe the technological processes.
Manual removal of irregularities on the walls and of cement splashes from the laid floor screed and plaster. It is done before priming the plaster and screed, in order to eliminate subsequent problems with plastering.
Applying a primer is a mandatory stage before applying putty. Priming ensures a good bond between the old and new putty plaster.
Plastering the walls until a fine layer is reached, suitable for applying primer and paint.
Sanding is done using a machine, with the aim of uniforming the surface and maximum results.
Priming on the fine putty is done for maximum good adhesion between the putty and the paint.
Painting with white paint on walls and ceilings with a machine (Airless Spray finish), to achieve maximum smoothness. After the first coat of paint, corrections are made in order to achieve the best possible surface quality.
Next is sanding the repairs, painting a second hand and, or a third if necessary.

It is extremely important to
make a plan for repairs of old construction. There are always unforeseen circumstances that delay the deadline! Each object is individual and the right steps in our opinion are:
Analysis and inspection of weak, swollen areas or peeling plasters and their removal until a healthy part is reached. In some cases, complete removal of the old plaster is necessary.
Applying a primer is a mandatory step before applying putty! Priming ensures a good bond between the old and new putty plaster.
In some cases, it is necessary to apply a second sealing primer!
